On December 17th, Holy Trinity was a hive of activity.

Our new piano was delivered and set up and the old one taken to a new home.

After the church was rebuilt and opened in 2007, a generous benefactor donated a baby grand piano.

Old Piano

This fall, the same kind person, asked if we would like a new one. The old one needed some repairs to be in top shape but was still serviceable. She wished to give the old one to a place where it could be used but not necessarily isolated from curious little fingers.  The new one had belonged to her daughter, who now lived in Ontario and it was not used. A good instrument needs to be played. We were very happy to accept her generous offer and Ellen was able to arrange transport for everything to happen at once.

The new piano is beautiful in structure and tone. It is a musical delight.

The daughter came to our service on the 4th Sunday in Advent. She is thrilled that the piano is going to be used and loved in our space.

We are exceptionally grateful to her and her mother for this wonderful gift.
